In the United States, 9-1-1 (emergency) dispatch call centers are overwhelmed with an influx of nonemergency calls. Having become aware of this problem, Amazon Web Services (AWS) looked to Paragon Cloud Services (Paragon), an AWS Partner with extensive call center experience, to build a solution that reduces the burden for dispatchers. Paragon saw the opportunity to use generative artificial intelligence (AI) to automate and reroute nonemergency calls to the appropriate recipients.
